Fellowships, Residencies and Workshops (oh my!)

I will be at Hambidge in Rabun Gap, GA this June!  I have been awarded a New Artist Initiative fellowship (from the NEA!) through Hambidge to work there for a few weeks in the mountains of North Georgia.  I am particularly excited about this because most of my summers growing up were spent very near there in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina.  This part of the world is one of my favorites and feels like home.

In July I will be at Pilchuck Glass School  north of Seattle, Washington!  I was awarded another fellowship that will support my studio practice this summer and fall as well as taking a glass casting class at Pilchuck for three weeks in July.  I’ve never been to the Pacific Northwest, and am very excited to be in two different mountain ranges this summer!
